Attn! MAM Supporters

don't take offense but what is hurting this forum's diversity happens to be a former associate with your business/hobby that chime in and attacks posts by those with competing kits - that over time have given up on the FI or Vendor forums

now i didn't now you pulled matthew's sponsorship until now and i don't blame you...unfortunately you are getting bad PR through this immature behavior

a little about me
i was Andy's original prototype kit put on over a 1 1/2 years ago...since then i have logged over 15k miles of daily driving and including over 20 days of wheel 2 wheel track racing (still running strong)...the development and reliability that Andy, Paul and I worked together on this kit (my self interest is having reliability as i use this car to port my 3 year old around) has increased its quality significantly leading to phased improvements in hardware, fuel delivery, timing and design including having Andy's fix a wiring error for the MPI unit, and having AEM sponsor development for the standalone ECU through his shop

local is local
as with customer fabricated work of major proportions you want to use a local shop as they can go straight to you if they have a problem...in fact i'm not sure if anyone on the east coast has a MAM kit as i'm always interested in looking at competing kits to see what neat ideas they may contain

something foreseeable
as you are active duty i'd be worried about contingencies for your customers and business/hobby as you may be called upon to go overseas

i don't have a grudge against anyone. I've been lurking for a long time before signing up and I've seen this pattern SO many times it's getting on my nerves. A few "key players" pick up some new hot part and tell everyone in the community "Hey Vendor X is making this! Gonna be hot". Everyone on the forum gets all hot and bothered and can't stop talking about it non-stop. New people or un-informed people (as many are) see the few key players with THOUSANDS of posts think they know what they are talking about..."if member A with 5K posts like this turbo it must be good". That's not a fact it's opinion.

bottom line is I'm jhust tired of checking the "current topics" thread and seeing all this MAM ass-kissing. Get a ******* life and talk about something else you hosers. Every day some new assmunch is going to rave about "if I had $5K I'd buy the MAM blow-up-doll and have sex with it everyday". Half the people who praise this guys work don't even own anything he sells. Doesn't this seem a little suspect to anyone else? At least when I comment about a part I have SOME kind of first hand experience with it.

Too bad the moderators on here are all vendors and all looking out for their own little products and friends and whatnot. This MIGHT be a decent forum if it wasn't so biased and lame.

hey, imagine this for a second-
mazda protege 3rd gen (mp3/p5/msp chassis)- only THREE YEARS. 01-03. Now if you're thinking... the mp3 and msp were both VERY LIMITED production cars... Add the fact that the mp3 only came out one year and the msp one year and the p5 3 years, it is EXTREMELY difficult to get good aftermarket products! Go over to the SRT forums or Honda forums and LOOK AT ALL THE SPONSORS and products available to them. Now do that with the Protege- SIGNIFICANTLY less. So yes, it IS A BIG DEAL when a new product becomes available- like a new turbo kit. There are only 3 out there, so when one is added, it adds competition AND more aftermarket support. It is a BIG DEAL, unless you don't have any aftermarket parts or turbo kits, and it seems you would fall under that.

Another thing- MAM has truly stepped upto the plate to make things NO ONE ELSE has yet produced! Like a Thumper (GT30series turbo, =length mani, massive HP potential) and look what happens- oddly enough after pictures are posted, Hiboost unveils one as well. Very interesting. Oh, did I mention that MAM made the first fuel rail upgrade that incorporates a different rail, regulator, lines etc? Oh, then theres the oil pan too, and the budget turbo kit, and the AEM, and the Spec clutches he convinced Spec to make, oh and the Oliver rods he helped get produced, the list goes on and on.

You say your tired of hearing about good customer service stories about MAM. Are you trying to stop people from posting how the customer service is? Or the products? Why are you trying to get these people to "shut up"? Why not let them post their experience so others can see what kind of company MAM is? Why not let the truth be known? Honestly, I'm sick of you complaining that people get too good of customer service. You don't have to get all whiny and say "stop posting about your good experiences"

get a ******* life and talk about something else you hosers.
Man its odd how you show up in almost every MAM post. You work for Wagner or something ?

By MAM being an authorized vendor, he is contributing to the servers that you are posting on. Get a life and make a donation so these boards can survive. Until then, no have no right to b**** about people getting good customer service. Just because you're jealous :p

all this cause a someone offered a sig to others.. we all have opinions about what we like and if what we like is the MAM products i guess that is up to us. i work in customer service related job and after talkin to beau these last couple of nights and goin over my ?'s with him shows his good service. when the man tells you can call him at 3 in morning if you need something and that if the phone is on he will answer. can't say that i would know many others to do that. and i learned that just because someone is local doesn't mean that it is better! you could take it to someone local and they could screw you just as bad and turn their back on you also.

and i don't think anyone of us is there forcing you to reply this post or any other MAM thread.

matt can u make me a sig with MAM even though i dont own any parts but just would like to support MAM!!
ill email or pm ya with pics of my car that are alright!

Yeah, no kidding, Beau and I usually talk anytime. :) When was the last time you called a company at 3am?

actual businesses hold ACTUAL office hours. That's just what you do when you're a professional, not a (self proclaimed) hobbiest.

I wish someone could postwhore on here all day long about how they loved APC and everything APC touches is golden. All ti takes is 2-3 good post ****** who have nothign to do but sit around and kiss each others ass to make APC the #1 protege tuner in the world.

p.s. I'm not affiliated with ne1 I'm just sick and tired of seeing the same bulls***, asskissing threads every damn day.

p.p.s. there's a 500hp p5 widebody around that is running the stock fuel rail so I coudl care less about someone making a striahgt tube with some bungs in it. Maybe the reason no'one has done it yet is because it's a worthless mod. I've seen 250-300whp proteges on this forum and they all use the stock rail. If it aint broke don't fix it.

If it aint broke don't fix it.
so why do YOU even bother modding your car, or posting on a car forum?

yes, actual businesses may hold actual hours, but when a customer need arises, who would you rather give business to? someone who will be available when you have problems? Or someone who is gone the entire weekend ?

you posting just will keep me ass kissing even more (kiss)

we did not say that is when is office hours are but if you need beau and call him at 3 in the morning he will pick up the phone and try to help you the best he can.

well since one person is makin 500hp now, everyone else stopin makin parts cause they have already figured it out. no need for nothing new. becuase we should all run the same setup.

PWNED by APC>>> damn

insano, perhaps you should actually buy something from MAM. you havent had "the experience" yet. n00b.

ok someone just change the name to MAMforumonly.com

LOL (kissass)(kissass)(kissass)(kissass)(kissass)

and beau told me that if sends me something with my kit that is crap to tell him because he will make a change to make it the best!! not many vendors would give two s**** about your honest opinion! and fella i am by no way trying to flame you or anything just wondering why something like us appreciating a good product causes you to reply to a post with so much negativity.

1 ? to you how many kits are avaliable for the new 3?

this is the kind of hit I get in my pm's now...for not "praising" this loser..

p.s. this is PDHaudio...a MAM representative who sent this to me. Way to go Beau, youp icked a winner to represent you.
