Hey All,

Just got back from a Protege meet at the Arundel Mills Mall in Maryland. There was a nice turnout of about 23 cars. Everyone was pretty cool...no idiots burning out etc.

It was nice to meet everyone. Sorry I wasn't able to remember everyones name. Anyways, check out the pics. If you see your car, holla and I'll make sure to retitle the photo of your ride.

Yeah that meet was nice, glad to meet everyone, and hope to do it again some time soon. And with the pictures of my car, great job. You can retitle #40 Blue Sedan, as Justin M's Protege, and #12 has it listed as a Resprayed Mp3, though I would love it to be, it is not, Just a regular 2000 Protege LX, but picture #12 does have a great shot of my stereo in the trunk. Yep, cool meeting everyone! The greenish tint on the hood in the pic of my car looks wicked. See that you liked Robs 19's also....

Lotsa midnight blue-you'd think that's the only color they came in!
Of course that made my car stand out

Thanks for providing the color break! I hadn't noticed the greenish hue until you said something. I think the Laser Blue looks sharp. I think it's honestly the only P5 I've seen that color to this point.

Your welcome! The pic makes it look like flip-flop paint, pretty cool. It was amazing the amount of Midnight Blue.. the red sedan next to me looked good also. Haven't seen any that color myself.

Thanks everyone.

We seem to have a pretty loyal bunch of Protege enthusiasts in the DC area, even some very dedicated people that drive down for our meets from farther up the East coast (you know who you are!!!!)

Hope to meet more of you. If your in the area, you have to stop buy the next time we get together!

I changed the labels so the proper recognition could be given on these hot and on fire vehicles mayne. Hopefully everything is now labelled correctly!

ReMillers: I too love my black and aluminum stubby. I gave the stock "sword" antennae so Purdue would have something to play with. Size apparently does matter.

As for plans on the 4th...gonna keep a low profile. To many nuts out there on the roads. Can't risk the damage to the "Silver Luv Wagon...err...5 door."

awww shucks.. we'll get you invited next time.. i heard about it last minute.. the details were posted on that *other* forum which I don't frequent anyway.. so i almost didn't hear about it either.. fortunately, Rob (with the Silver P5 and 19's) called me and told me about it
