No doubt. I had never driven a turbo before the CX-7 so it was noticeable to me too -- but like we both agree, in a pretty short time you get used to it, and it's a non-issue.

See? I live in New York, so I would have benefited from it for sure

koala said:I actually never really use the voice commands, and I never did in my previous Acura either... so I don't think this is too big of an issue. One thing I wish the CX-7 did was display interior and exterior temperatures simultaneously.
I'm using the voice commands more as I learn them and how they work. In some cases, certain things are only accessible through voice commands while you're moving, so it's good to know them

I hear what you're saying, but I haven't run into that yet. I sometimes keep my wallet in front of the shifter and I actually like that little "cubby" area for it. Little stuff like mints and cigarettes (yeah yeah, bad habit, I know) are in the suspended cup in the center console. Cell phone is in my pocket... but then again, I HATE cell phones, LOL. One compartment that I do miss that I had on my Matrix... it's where the little fuse panel is on the CX-7, under the headlight adjustment knob and TCS button. On the Matrix that was a flip-out pocket thing. Perfect for spare change and cellphone.
