Are our cars(msp's) as weak as people are making them out be?

lol just thought id share this with you all here since Tease is pretty much taking over all the shishhh talkers....ive been runnin the car just about every weekend and a couple nights a week....15psi during each run...odometer is at 15,something...
kills mostly from rolls(cause i launch worth jack)
mainly modded wrx's and some runnin 12's in the 1/4mile
turbo'd miata
somewhat modded evo
turbo'd civics
spec v's
350z
neon srt's....even match evenly with a modded 04..
mustang gt's
eclipse's...gst w/ a big 16g and a modded gsx that runs 13.1(or .2).

just wanted to say that its being done when many are doubting it.

What can the car run on pump gas?

Some day you'll have to post your list of mods.

when a good tuning ems comes to us we are stuck runnin high octane mixs like discreet...s***...once we tune for 93 octance watch out lol(drunk)
 
his mods (to my knowledge) are: 3" turbo-back, injen cai, iON FMIC, NGK BKR7E, and boost @ 15psi w/ 93-100 octane. basically all the bolt-ons
 
Hopefull we can get a MSP winning those battles at a track soon instead of onthe street at a role.
 
lol ill be honest sometimes when i run i do turn the knob a bit for a little more power....so some of these kills on the wrx's have been with a little higher psi..but the point is its being done and the car is still running.

12psi imo is fin heck i think 15 is fine but 20 bucks for 4 gallons of 110 is well worth the over-protection..

I only ask that you included the octane you use when talking about perfomance. Too many people will think you are running the 91 octane that they find at the pumps and they will raise there boost to the same levels you do.
 
If hes running alot of high octane gas, the motors will not knock.
Hes got everything in line to protect it.
Cold Charge temps + cold plugs+ high octane= NO Detonation.
Its been shown the car is still safely rich at 11psi, and at 15 with those precautions, even a 12.5 or higher a/f isnt going to knock.
The motor at that point is more likely to kill itself because of power, or the diff/tranny are gonna hate life.

Props to you showing the MSP can handle some abuse.

thankx man....yashoo is runnin 14psi daily from the factory(yes) lol...im not sure what hes got done to it..i remember correctly its stock.

There is more then A:F invovlved in avioding knock, timing is very important aswell.
