forend received yesterday, upper receiver ordered today. should have this up and running in a week or so.

Also, I traded my charging handle for one without the tactical latch, seeing as I have the side charging handle as well.

More arrivals.

(no the bipod isn't mounted, I'll have to wait to drill for the swivel stud after the barrel is mounted for indexing. If necessary, I'm planning on putting another swivel stud further back on the forend because the bipod is so long. We'll see when my case gets here. Ordered this from BallisticReload over the weekend.

The upper I was originally going to buy... well... I haven't heard from the guy in over a week (when I told him I wanted to make the hour and a half drive to get it). So today I ordered a MEGA Billet Side Charging upper from Ranier Arms. They had it shipped within a couple hours, so, it should be here by the end of the week. *fingers crossed*

I also traded off my charging handle for one without the tactical latch. Figuring since its likely just there mostly to fill the hole, that a lower profile piece would make casing easier.

Nice, I got a M4 from rock river arms, love that thing!

I couldn't bring myself to just buy a rifle. I almost bought the upper as a unit, but I wanted to go slicksided. And then as long as I was doing that, I went with the side charging to make it that much more unique. Building it is definitely worth the experience. Between that and the carbon forend, this ain't your daddy's AR. lol

Centerpoint 4-16

Its cheap junk, but I'm sure its better than I am, and from what I hear, its VERY good cheap junk lol

Illuminated recticle, with paralax and eye relief adjustment.

For the right offer, I'd definitely sell it. I just spent like 10x the cost of this, and really the big idea was the fun of building it. Once I put the ammo through it I bought, i'll happily part with it. (that'd be about 120 rounds through everything, and 1000 through the barrel)

Carl, you're not planning on going "postal", are you?, LOL! If you are..............just remember I always treated you well, LOL!

I officially have this thing up for sale, if anyone is interested let me know... Trying to purchase a house and just don't get enough use out of it.

Taking partial trades on certain handguns (1911, Taurus Judge, or most anything in .45acp), would put up as partial trade on an 80's Chevy 4x4, or GTO/LS go-fast goodies, but as always, cash is king.
