Apple CarPlay Stopped Working

I have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Touring Edition. Apple Carplay was working perfectly. All of a sudden, when I plug my iPhone (iPhone 12 Pro Max) into the USB, the Apple Carplay interface doesn't appear anymore. The iPhone is detected, and I see it, but I can't get Carplay to work anymore. I've tried swapping cables since that was my first thought that the cable went bad. But that's not it. I've checked on YouTube and other places and can't seem to figure out how to get it to work again.

If anyone has had this happen or knows of a fix, please let me know. Thank you in advance!

Reset the phone and the Mazda Connect system.

I started by resetting the Mazda system, tried it, and it's working now. Didn't have to reset the iPhone. Thank you for your help!

Wicked. I find both systems will act strangely if they aren’t occasionally reset. My iPhone in particular can be a real pill.

How did you reset the Mazda system? I’m having a similar issue and can’t get CarPlay to work.
