Apex air diversion plate pics

Just went home for a fast lunch break and stopped by my mechanic's shop to get the plate and install it. Well, here are my impressions (pics will be posted tomorrow):

1. It doesn't sit flush against the grill. The reason is because of the two white plastic taps near the radiator.

2. It is hard to find the hood latch with the plate installed. Reason being, it doesn't sit flush and if you have bigger hands then you will have some problems. (I have fairly small hands).

do you have a fmic by chance? just wondering if the pipes and the radiator not in the exact factory mount will sit the same still

Nope, I have the stock smic. I called apex about this issue and was told that the removed those two holes because customers complainted that it looked stupid on the prototype. I guess they only way to make it sit flush is to use some double sided 3m tape on the middle of the plate.

Take tons of dimensions before you put it on so I can start getting some fabbed!!! Well of course only it fitment is good

some as in multiple? Looks kinda boring imo, I might powder coat it if I had one. Or is silver the trend ryoga?

I have the dimensions. I have been busy and want to get some stuff installed on my car! I will look into having someone fabricate one of these for me. If others like it, I will see what I can do.

Sorry for the long wait.

I was able to make the plate sit flush by using a double sided 3m tape.

adds alot to the engine bay looks VERY CLEAN i like it alot im just not paying that much for it lol.

like most of the people here 40 bucks sounds alot better i think ill email Apex and show them this thread...who knows they might drop the price a bit who knows
