apark plugs

new guy here, feel kinda stupid but o well. my mp5 is my first new car i have always had older cars ( 93 jeep 88 toyota) so i dont know how to get the plug covers or wire conetors to the spark plugs off, i mean do you twist or unscrew of just pull or what ? like i said i feel stupid. thanks.

just wondering here...but since its new...why are you taking the plug wires off?

and they just pull off.
 
its pretty easy, you'll need an 8 or 10mm socket, i can't remember which one, a small extension and a good 3/8 drive rachet. the coils are acutally used for the "plug wires" on cyl.# 2 and 4. if you remove those you can get to the plugs on those two cylinders. the wires for #1 and 3 are attached to said coils. Just give em a slight tug upwards and becareful of the tip catching on the valve cover opening., they should just come on out. to get at the plugs you need a plug socket or deep well socket, of course and a really long extension. the plugs are buried way down in the head on our enignes. just be sure to note which coil goes to which cylinder when you take em off.
