AP purchased

i bought an AP from forum sponsor JSC Speed

i made the decision because though i've been waiting for a full access ecu interface, reviews of the 1.03 maps have been stellar, so i pulled the trigger.

hopefully the access tuner will come out in my lifetime.

mods are original Cobb SRI, TXS test pipe and TXS HBPV, i'm in NJ and I run 93.

If theres a major problem just data log it and send it to Christian and he will most likely work on it for us. Im going to be getting AP in the next month or so as well.....cant wait.

just got my ap about a mont ago, i love it. stage 2+SF CS TBE and Cobb SRI. Much better than the v102 maps. Now i just need it to get warmer so i can get some traction...

im going to be getting one at tax season. i cant wait. my mods push my a/f ratios and everything else out of wack. i not only want it but i need it. keep me posted

now if i just didn't have to go to work right now instead of playing with this thing.....

Only issue with the NGK is you have to gap them yourself and that Tip is very fragile. I like the Denso plugs as they come pre-gaped. GL in gaping them and be careful not to break the tip off.

thanks! yeah i'm going to use the old tap one way/ needle nose the other and keep checking with a feeler.

a little bit of a pain vs. pre-gapped but not too bad.

in the late 90's, i bought the first HKS superfires for my juiced sohc honda. they were almost 30 dollars each at the time. i went to gap them and destroyed one of the center electrodes...it was not pretty or fun.

my ngk's were almost dead on. they were off a little bit but nothing to be worried about. i didnt even bother to f with them. were yours really bad?

congrats on the purchase.

We are getting some cold weather in jersey.

Let us know if you are hitting boost cut in this weather.

Oh, I was not worried. I was just stating that with even the extreme cold I did not get any type of cut. I tried to log a 3rd gear run but could not get any traction... My knock never goes above 1 and I have zero KR at WOT, even in this extreme cold.

I had spikes of 20psi, and tapering down to 17-18.
