With Cobb's latest maps (1.03) where does power drop off around. Is it still around 5.5k, or closer to redline, or 6k? Thanks

I've seen dynos around here and on the other forums that appear to be at least around 6k.

Yeah power should hold till 6k. Will not know for sure till some dyno's are done.

Power drops off due to the turbo losing efficiency more than anything...a tune really won't help that much.

What he said. The stock turbo is just not capable of producing more power after it gets to 5500 rpm. That was a design decision to emphasize quick spool up and strong torque down low. Only way to get around this is to have a bigger turbo with greater thermal efficiency. You'll get more power, and it will continue higher up in the rpm band, but it will spool up slower and not "come on" until higher rpm.
