ap or exhaust?

hey guys..i want both an accessport and exhaust but unfortunately i cant get both right now..
what do u guys propose i get first, the ap or the exhaust? u can see my current mods in my sig and if im not mistaken they are about to come out with a new stage 2 map i could use with that set up even tho its a stock catback..

performance wise i know the ap would be the better choice but just tryin to get some thoughts..

The AP will give you more gains when you go wot. The exhaust is more just for the sound not so much the performance ... don't think I'd go stage 2 if you still have both cats as well - stick to stage 1.

i dont have both cats i only have the main one. the second one was removed when i put my test pipe on..

You can run stage 2 with the stock cat, I heard (word of mouth) it was too restrictive. I guess you just cant run it with 2 cats????

But yeah, you are completely correct, you will most likely get next to zero gains from exhaust, but will get lots of sound.

**Here's an idea. You want more power and exhaust sound right? Downpipe my friend! Best of both worlds and cheaper than the AP. About the same price even if a shop installs it for you (my corksport + install about $500).

well from what i read iirc theyre comin out with a stage 2 ms cai that would wirk with the stock catback

Yeah You prob "could" run stage 2 but I would rather play it safe then sorry.

Sounds like you have your mind made up by now but definately hit up the cobb AP. You could also get an intercooler. Either one would give you good gains.

Downpipe = great gains = end of warranty
