AP Advice

Did some logging today, everything looks good except I'm getting between 2-3 KR at WOT in the higher rpms. The car definitely feels more powerful, however it's somewhat jerky under acceleration. Hard to describe, just seems like under acceleration it's not as smooth as it was before the AP, especially in 3rd and 4th. AFR is leaner than it was, seeing mid 11's instead of low 10's before the AP. I'm seeing 0 LTFT at idle and decell, -7 under light/heavy load. Will the -7 ever zero out? Still at about 100 miles with the AP flash, easy driving for the first 50 miles and mixed to include a couple WOT runs in the past 50. Any advice?

Did you get any KR before the AP with the Nano? If you continue to get these symptoms after a few more miles then I would return to the stock map and monitor your KR and the AFR again.

Those KR numbers are not bad at all. I assume the AP map has more aggressive timing than stock. That would cause it. I bet the jerky feeling is you needing colder spark plugs.

i think i get that jerky feeling without the ap. i plan on getting one and hope it fixes the problem. i have the plugs. it almost feels like....sputtering all the way to top rpm on WOT. putts and sputters throughout. it sucks because when its smooth the car rips. i can feel this is slowing the car.

I hope the nano wont be a problem for running AP maps, Chris at Cobb kinda gave me a guilt trip when I was in talking to him "It shouldnt make that big of difference because the Nano looks to be pretty well built but ammount of air comming in can throw off everything else pretty easily" I dont think you need colder plugs for a stage one. Stage two is a maybe for colder plugs.

I reflashed the car again with the same map and gave it more time to learn the map before I drove it WOT. I'm seeing excellent LTFT's in all four cases: idle -4, decell -1, accel low -2, accel high -1 with the Nano. I'd have to say Stage 1+SF is a good match for the CP-E Nano. The car is a monster and drives great except at partial throttle settings driving what I consider "normal" acceleration in third. Very touchy throttle and can be jerky. At idle, no boost, and heavy/wot throttle the car is a beast. Just wish partial throttle was a little smoother, but Christian couldn't get max power and partial throttle smoothness at the same time.
