I bought dropzones on ebay. 1.4 inch drop front and 1.4 inch drop rear. This is right after install, they settled a bit more after this tho:
now that it's settled i should take a new pic. for my skinny fingers its about 1.5 fingers in the wheel gap. Rides just fine. Stiffer than stock.
I believe the final shipped price was like $109
they are sold for the regular 3, but they fit fine and ride fine on my car which is the speed3. Anyone that says regular 3 springs dont fit the speed3 is incorrect. They fit fine and ride just a tad stiffer than stock. The drop looks really good now, it's settled nicely, i need to take a new pic of the drop. the ones above are right after the drop
Uhateit put me on to the DRopzones, there was no alignment needed, no blown shocks, etc etc.
i was going to go with the Eibach prokit but decided to give these a try first. he said he took the car in for an alignment after settling and they said nothing needed to be adjusted. so i was on board
i decided to give them a try.
i installed the Springs thursday. these pics were taken today. excuse the quality, taken with my blackberry
i have to say its the best $115 i have spent. i thought the car had just a tad bit of bounce when i first drove it but after more time of riding there is no bounce. the car settling on uneven pavement made me feel like i was bouncing since we are so used to the floatiness of the stock springs
there is virtually NO tq steer anymore, not nearly as much front end lift, no floating, car is nice and planted-everything feels great.
Springs are great for $115.

here it is in july:
i completely forgot to measure the damn thing before i put the springs in, i was going to and forgot until after i put them on.
this is about 2 hours after install so settling is a tad bit more than this, looks great in person:
Yes they are bought off ebay, I believe it was $79 for them and shipping was $26 or $29
