Anyone with Ground Control Coil Overs

hey all. this is my first thread ive started! i need help with my ground control coil overs i have on my protege 5. i bought them used (practically brand new) but there was no manual for them. me and my friend put them on ourselves but we could not figure out where to put the smaller aluminum peices that look almost like a donut (not the flat ones that sit directly on top of the springs). my springs make a lot of noise and i figure it is because these parts are not installed. if anyone can help me out with maybe a picture or scanned copy of the instructions or even just an explaination of how they go or whatever. id greatly appreciate the help. i dont want my suspension coming apart on me. thanks. -alan

Those go on the rear springs above the top aluminum hats. If your fronts are squeeking it is because they do that. Mine do. My front struts squeek a lot when it's cold

hmm... so they just sit on top of the hats that are on top of the rear springs?
