so im calling around to all the area mazda dealerships in ct lookinh for a new or used 03 p5....and im talking to this one guy who doesnt have any,so just for s**** and giggles i ask him if he has any msps..

he says yes and that they have one new one. since our cars didnt sell as well as anticipated and since they areold now, replaced by the 3, and i had heard of the ridiculous good deals ppl were getting on their brand new msps for the past year i ask him how ,uch its going for now....

You can get a fairly well optioned 3 GT in Canada for that price. Factor in an exchange rate of 1.33 (approx.) and that guy will be sitting with that car for a very long time.

umm, yes but he's talking 26k US. Your talking 26k CDN. HUGE difference in Car prices across the borders.

The speed was 20,500 US, and sold here for 27,599 + freight CDN.

A car For 26k US, we could get an rx-8 for that in Canada.

ya, 2 door, black, manual, sunroof with short shifter, kenwood mp3 playing head unit (few years old, cant remember the model #) brand new clarion speakers all around

but it has high miles - 125k and needs a clutch
i just had new plugs, wires, coil pack and belts done along with a new MAF at 115k
rear brakes were just done a couple weeks ago and the guy said the fronts looked fine

im not sure if I would want another msp. I mean I would love it, but i really wanted this car to be a automatic with cruise control.....but if the price was right im sure i would have a hard time saying no.

I really want to get 5k for the suby....i dunno if thats reasonable or high or low or what but its my goal
