anyone using winisd?

i am having trouble with some of the parameters. my type r 12" 2ohm DVC spec sheet doesn't have some of the required specs, or i'm not exactly hip to the terms.

Z = i assume total resistance, so 2ohms wired in series is 4

PE = ?

BL = ?

Dia = cone diameter, voice coil diameter,...which one?

i did the day i dl'd it, hehe. there is a brief summary of the basic t/s stuff, but nothing about the dia and bl...or pe.

i know i probably don't need those, but i'm very curious about how to get them from a sub that doesn't have them listed in the spec sheet. well, diameters are listed, hehe, but i don't know which they require.

well.. bluntly.. if you cant find a spec sheet with the info... you need to measure the stuff. Things like the diameter are easy.. but B1 and the other electric perameters require specilised instruments.. you can't just do with with a digital multi-meter.

i checked out the wiki article yesterday. it's a measurement that i indeed can't perform, so i'll run w/o it. like you said, isd will be ok w/o it.

i found out that the isd diameter request is for the speaker and not the voice coil.
