anyone useing street unts motor mounts?

anyone have street units motor mounts on thier car? I am not really sure if I should go with awr or theirs.

The units are def hottness....Imagine all 4 in SU style...sweet..also freaking expensive!!!!

they are actually have a deal for right now on mounts. the front and rear is only 145. thats part of the reason I would like these.

I don't know what durometer, or stiffness they are using or if they have any selection....I have not heard any "user" feedback on the mounts, but they definiely have a show quality to them...

ive got SU's motor mounts, 90 dur. also. i like them, you just have to get used to the rattle

I thought they also came in a 60 something durometer for less vibration.

Yeah, they're 62A durometer bushings according to the site.

awr's are ok to go with right?

They're not bad at all...they just have a stiffer insert in them so it will create more cabin vibration. The durometer is essentially the hardness or stiffness of the urethane. The higher durometer the more hard the urethane is.

awrs are the mounts most people are using. I just thought I would try street units. they have a nicer finish.plus they are cheaper for right now

the street unit ones will be a lot better htan the awrs.... they have 62A dur. and larger bushing so it transfers less to the cabin.

they look bad ass also!

how bad does it vibrate? is it the entire cabin or just the shifter?

I have the front and rear prototype on my car and they are great, however I cant tell you fully until I get the sides done too, simply because I have one of my side mounts shot. If you go to the forum over there there are pictures of, my front one, I dont have any pictures of the rear that you can see yet. However I will have the intake mani. off soon so watch for rear pictures coming soon.

The front and rear engine mounts will be shipping out on Monday! No further delay beyond Monday for the front and rear mounts is expected. The side mounts are 2-3 weeks behind. PM me or email me with any questions or details as I don't come over to his forum all this much anymore.
