anyone used these shift knobs before?

so i was just browsing through some shift knobs and stumbled across these:

i know these are something relatively useless, cause if you cant figure out what gear you're in by feeling where your shifter is, you shouldn't be driving. but i think it has a bit of a cool factor. just wondering if anyone knows if they'd be compatible with our cars, if anyone's used them, opinions etc
 
Looks interesting, but I can think of other things to spend that kind of money on other than a shift knob.
 
definitely, i'm just toying around with the idea. throwing it out there for someone who might actually have disposable income.
 
Can't be to hard to make. Curious how accurate it is with a short shifter. I wouldn't buy one anyways lol. Ford has these as an accessories for the new mustang
 
Man, I've wanted one of those for like two years. Please buy it and show me a video of it.
