Anyone Still Have the Stock Kenwood Sub?

Hey All,

Since I was getting no response from my other thread, I thought I would try this.

Anyone remove the stock Kenwood sub and keep it? If so, would anyone be willing to sell the mounting flanges to me? Or at least take a picture of them so I can try to make some for myself?

i dont think that part is detacable.... not sure though. i took it out a couple of times and think it was 1piece with the sub box... not sure though. if i take it out again ill post

Here's the thing - I got a replacement Kenwood sub (mine was stolen) and it doesn't come with those plates. The owner's manual indicates that it gets mounted in the trunk with straps. I don't know how they attach, but it was something specific to our cars (I think).

Here's a couple I took last night. Sorry about the size for 2 of the pictures, I had my camera phone on the wrong settings. Basically its a "T" shaped piece of metal with 2 screws holding it on.

OK - so I made my own mounting brackets (thanks again mp3xtc!!!), but now I have a question about the wiring that goes to the sub. There are 2 RCA plugs - got that figured out. There is also a white plug that has spaces for 10 wires to go into it.

If anyone could take a picture of that - that would be awesome.

If not, if you could describe how many wires go into it and where they connect that would be great. As far as I can guess, there should be 3 - 1 Yellow, 1 Blue and 1 Black. But I would not be surprised if that was totally wrong!
