I watched the other night at work when Tito Ortiz was dominated by this 40 year-old ex- champ (I can't remember his name). Apparently it was the 1st time that Ortiz was on his back like that!

Yes that was Randy Colture (sic).
He has been the only person to ever dominate the UFC in two separate weight classes. He just ran Tito around like a b**** picking him up slamming him down, running him around the octagon like an amateur. It was amazing to watch a man as good as Tito get handle like a inexperienced beotch.
The other camp the Milatich (sic) camp from Iowa they are some mean motherfuckers as well. Damn did you see that 6' 8'' guy just pummel that 6' 10'' guy?
Damn he was way outclassed some of the bigger guys don't think they have to train as hard but those freaks at Milatich just train all day everyday 24/7 that's all those guys do and it shows.
The UFC just kills all other MMA orgs IMO. I watch Pride and K1 so far I have not seen a single other group of fighters who compare to the UFC guys. In fact the loser (who fought Colture) from last UFC just went to Pride and kicked ass. The head of Pride was in the crowd and he is sending a Pride fighter over to compete in the next UFC.
UFC is gaining in respect and popularity so hopefully we'll see some broader coverage in the future.

Right on? I saw all that s***! I was like damn when the 6'8" guy took out the 6'10" guy with those punches. When he fell down, he just pounded his head until he was out! I remembered Tito Ortiz from the last Jet Li movie, "Cradle to the Grave."

I love UPS!!

I've been watching the UFC since UFC 2, and actually went to one here in Charlotte(hmmm 1993 I think), before it gotted banned from cable TV and many cities. I actually have competed in mixed martial arts, with grappling/wrestling being my background....and let me say this...today's MMA athletes are incredible, compared to the mid to late 90's...of coarse the sport has grown tremedously. Anyway.....I haven't seen the Tito vs. Randy match yet, but I will say this, Randy dominated Victor Belford in the late 90's, someone who many thought was unstoppable, so yeah I can see him dominating Tito. He's a very technical MMA fighter that doesn't make many mistakes. I grew up watching the Grace's, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Tank Abbot, and Oleg Teckorov(sp), Victor Belford..as well as many others over the 90's..then it started to become a little harder to follow..and I have faded away over the years as well as my training compounded by my injuries...but I absolutely love full contact fighting...just wish I had more time to do it. Do you guys train or what??..I'd love to discuss you knowledge of the game..Peace guys!!!

******* Tank Abbot got his ass just handed to him via submission by Kimo that was just ******* beautiful. This was in the UFC before the last one it was great first round submit I think.
Kimo is a damn freak.
You see that "Cabbage" wacko. LOL

Yes the Milatich guy Silva or Sliva or something hit the 6 10'' dude knocked him out and went to beating on his unconscious head.
He was so out cold his neck was in an awkward bent position when hit the ground.
Of course no one knew he went straight out until the replays.
Major ass whooping.

I saw that flick to Jet Li knocking those guys out of the ring and what not. I think Tito just did not train hard enough to beat Randy next fight should be a good one.

Abbot getting his ass kicked uh...LOL..that's awesome,...I've never fully respected his mouth or as a fighter..although I wouldn't want to get hit by his bombs either..but as far as a full conditioned athlete..LOL...PLEASE!!!...Now Kimo!!!....is an absolute FREAK!!!...and has become an excellent fighter since his opening bout against Royce Grace(sp) in the mid 90's. So, do you guys trian or what??..Peace!

I took Yoshukai for a year from Yuki Koda back when I was a teen.
Lots of shin kicks, blocks etc. Very hard style.
After I came back from the Army a few years back I studied Aikido for about about 9 months until the studio closed.
I really liked the throws. I wish I could find a good school close to home.

I haven't done any training at all in years but I would like to get back into it with my kids.

Nisei Goju Ryu here...

My Shihan accually taught us Jiu-Jitsu too as he has a background in Shotokan, and other martial arts. Goju Ryu accually means "hard-soft style." It combined soft movements for "flowing" around opponents, with hard striking for taking out opponents.

My buddy who is the ARMY studied Goju Ryu under Jay Tromble (sic). This was over in Fort Worth somewhere quite a while back.
He really liked it.

I've trained in a variety of styles, but haven't stuck with one for too long (I keep having to move)... Muay Thai, Shotokhan, the obligatory TKD, and now Ishin-Ryu...
