Anyone put snowboards in their M3 hatch?

While researching on the M6 and M3 hatchbacks I was curious if anyone puts snowboards in their M3. How is it? Very tight? Can someone still sit in the back? Just curious on any experiences. A buddy of mine has an older GTi and we can put his mtn bike in there (wheels off and such...although tight fit) or 3 snowboards (again they all had to be angled and played with to get them in there.
