Anyone producing a Dash Gauge Pod yet?

I've been out of the loop for a while here... I know several people were working on making these a while back, like Demi's that I just found:

Do any companies produce & sell one of these yet?? Otherwise I may have to get to work learning how to mix Bondo :)

*edit: the engine forum may not be the best place for a gauge pod post, but since gauges monitor engine functions, I thought wth. Hopefully it gets exposure here

No, nobody is mass producingthem yet.
You'll either have to buy one thats custom made by somebody, or make one yourself.

It's hard, I'm almost finished up with mine. Just hard to find motivation because I probably won't be using it.

yea i know i would buy one, i know that a guy on the mazda3from makes them but he whats like $250 and u buy the parts ur self

yeah they're awfully labor intensive... I don't think one would be too hard to make, just very time consuming. The triple pod is available from PG, and you could get the trim piece from a junkyard if you don't want to destroy your original.

I've never worked with Bondo, so that would be a pain, plus I'd be worried about getting the fit and finish right when everything was said and done. It would definitely look and fit cleaner if it was one molded piece of plastic.

Yeah, like i said in the how to its not too hard. Dont be afraid! I would love to start making these for people but since the stock peice is $150 and the PG part is $60 after shipping, and all the work it would be around $300 or $350 to make it worth it to me. Or I suppose a core for the center piece would work. $150-$200 with the center piece? I dont want to violate any rules or anything. PM me if you want me to fab some up. Im sure i could find some time on an idle Saturday. Think i will be using Rage Body Filler if I make any more.

Wasn't this your first try with Bondo, Demi?

That's gonna be my major set-back, but you got nice results for never having worked with it before, so I probably could too :)

I would like a dash kit, but I just dont want one with 3 spaces. I dont understand why 1, 2 and 3 guage options are not availiable!
