uhhh

College is awesome..... I wouldn't transfer if I didn't absolutely have to.. every school has a different setup.... you won't actually know what credits will transfer until you send the school a copy of your transcripts. Good luck man... like i said... most people lose at least a few credits when they transfer...makes for a HUGE waste of time...

i think he's at junior college right now. seeing as how a bachelor's degree can't get you a job these days, i don't think he wants to settle for an associate's degree. i lost a few credits transferring from ucsd to sdsu, but in the end, i didn't want to become a doctor, so i left. best decision i ever made.

Well, I got my A.A. first at a local community college and transferred to finished my Bachelor's at an out of state college. The only class that didn't transfer I got a D in, so it was no loss. My roommate went to Pepperdine all 4 years, loved it, spent a year in London during her junior year I think. I can ask her if she knows anything about the other colleges.

It all depends on the college, how your credits will transfer. AZ State in Tucson has screwed my friend's mom over royally, but they also offer the only program of it's kind in the US and that's the one her mom wanted to be in, so they had her over a barrel. My bf and all of his siblings got their A.A.'s first and transferred and for the most part, they didn't lose many if any credits. My sister is transferring to a 4 year college this fall after getting her A.A. and she isn't losing any credits. I also have 2 friends who also have transferred to different colleges successfully. Just remember that you won't be able to transfer more than 60 credits in. Good luck. :)

first why JC why not college from the go. you got 2 years of core classes and then your major after that so you have 2 years to figure it out and don't loose credits. Oh well looks like you had a crappy advisor. or are broke.

College is the best thing you can do in life. I have 2 BFAs and i got 10,000 more for my job because of the second degree and i still have my job even after the crash. So for all you haters... college does pay.

:quote: we can only offer you 18 and hr.... you have 2 degrees?!?!?! hows 21 and hr. :end quote:

College is where I have been for the past 9 years! I've been through one state college, one community college, one mid major university, and I'm now finishing up my doctorate at grad school. Let me tell you the years I spent in undergrad were some of the best years of my life. Partying all the time and college classes are easier than high school because if you don't feel like going...don't. Undergrad was a joke...carrying 12-15 hours of class a week was great. For the past 3 years I've had no less than 29 hours of class a week. But here's the big picture....someone said you can't get a job even with a bachelor's degree (part of that may be true, it's always about WHO you know) but without that it's minimum wage and "would you like super size fries with that?" Go to college and have fun!

P.S. I just signed my 2 year contract starting at $80k plus bonus for the first year and $100k plus bonus the second year. After that I'll demand some real money!
