This just started happening, but whenever I lock the car with the remote now, the parking lights don't just flash, they stay on. They turn off once I push the button again, but this is really annoying. Also, when I get back in the car I get the "lights are on" buzz noise until I hit the ignition. Its weird.

Yeah dude, common problem covered in the sticky's. Soon pressing the button twice will no longer solve the problem, and the lights will continue to stay on. The next stage of the malfunction activates the self-destruct sequence after attempting to arm the alarm....again, all covered in the sticky.
