Im looking at the MB Boost wheel in gunmetal gray for my Gray MS3. Anyone have these installed and have pics? Im told they weigh 22lbs in 18x7.5 size so thats a few pounds less than stock.

What size tire should i get? 225/45/18 or 225/40/18?

TIA.

Those are my winter rims so I have Michelin pilot alpin PA2's with 205/50R-17's. I think they look really good too.

ya i was thinking of getting those in gunmetal for my winter rims, but wasnt totally sold on how it would look on the metropolitan gray. Those look really good on TR though...btw love the eyelids

I ordered them this week (18inch) and hope to get them by this weekend. I will post pics once installed. I think they will look good on my gray MS3. Atleast they will help cover up the awful brake dust. :)

Before you put them on I recommend putting a couple good coatings of wax on the rims, It will help with the build up of brake dust. Super easy to clean.

Where did you find the weight to be 22lbs? I heard they weighed more than stock from Discount Tire but they dont really know anything so thats why I'm wondering.

Mpower those look great!! How much did it set you back? have you had a chance to run them in the winter yet or are they a preplan for this winter coming ?

Discount Tire told me they were 22lbs for the 18s, i hope they were not BSing me. I will weigh them (with the 225 Kuhmo SPT) against the stock 18s with Bridgestones and post the results. Hopefully this weekend...

Dont have them yet. Cost was 1000.00 (with Kuhmo SPT) even and i sent them some RX8 TPMS to install which i picked up for 120.00. So i guess i piad 1120.00.
