Anyone had there boost spike to 10 psi

My boost spiked again tonight to 10 psi I have no boost contoller I have ion fmic , injen cai My wife was the one that noticed it I was in like 3rd and got on it some I thought i seen it jump up fast She said it went to 10 . I think maybe because it is getting colder here I t has did this one other time . But it normally goes to 7 or 71/2 most all the time Any one else have this I t went to 10 real fast and then went to 7

Could be a kink or a leak in the vacuum hose leading to the wastegate actuator. Mine cracked (the stock hose is really brittle) and no signal was going to the wastegate...the boost spiked to 12 psi and I hit fuel cut.

i replce all the stock hoses so i dont think that is it

It still could be a kink in the hose somewhere...it's the most probable cause.

yeah it could be the cold too cause I seem to be boosting close to 8 all the time now and I havent really gotten on it in the cold snowy weather either. I replaced all my vacc lines too and have no kinks in my line. maybe with the FMIC you got a lil extra boost spike in the cold who knows. But definately check for kinks cause that would do it too. not really sure if the cold would make boost spike increase but when it was warmer out it was never spiking at 8 so who knows.
