Anyone getting S-Plan pricing on the MS6?

I took out a MS6 friday from the local dealer. I was quite impressed until they said they wouldn't honor the S-Plan pricing I'm eligible for. Are the MS6's excluded or is this dealer just (jerkit) ?

I'm thinking that it's probably a good thing they won't honor it. I was looking at a Mazda3 until I saw the Speed6. I do 60 miles/day to and from work. I don't exactly need a car like the Speed6. Sure would be fun, though.

i really doubt you are going to get any one to honor s-plan on the mazdaspeed6. i think even mazda forbids it. you might find a dealer in the middle of nowhere that wants to sell his car so he will drop the price but i really doubt.

i bought my p5 on the s-plan. it was a good deal. dropped the price of the car (with auto) to $15,500 or something like that.this was only 3 months after the cars came out and i got 1 of only 2 yellows in south florida during that time (wiggle)

Its always up to the dealer whether or not they'll honor S-plan.

And yes there has been dealers who have both honored s-plan, and the 1000 USD in available rebates.

You will have to hunt though, and possibly shop cross state to find one.

Or just wait till after winter when its more then likely alot more will be available, and dealers will be willing to deal.

if you're getting S-plan through mazda motorsports, MM says that S-plan is not available on mazdaspeed models.

S-plan is usually not eligible on first year models. it is eligible on mazdaspeed vehicles, such as the 2005 (NOT 2004, as it was the first year) mazdaspeed miata.

I'm getting S-Plan pricing but I know of no available rebates... can you assist with this?

my mazda manager just told me he'd give me employee pricing on this car, even though we only have 6 in stock right now. the problem i have is that i can't turn in my current leased vehicle for at least another month so i hope he still feels the same in january

svogt,

There is a zoomzoomlive rebate for 500 USD, and an available loyalty rebate for 500 USD.

Many people are giving away zoomzoomlive rebates, just need to find one. The loyalty rebates are harder to get, and are assigned to individuals, so they can't be transfered.

One willing dealer out of 2 so far

I pinged a bunch of out-of-town dealers today and got two responses so far, one yes and one no. With typical salesman hutzpah, the "no" had the nerve to claim they actually have a $3k mark-up over MSRP, but that they would "waive" the markup and give me MSRP. Must have have been a floor salesman on temporary internet duty. I don't think a fleet/internet guy would come up with that BS. I told him thanks but no thanks. I'll start working on the "yes" tomorrow to see if its genuine or if they will try to make it up some other way.

I found a dealer about half an hour away that said they'd give me S-Plan pricing on a MS6. :)

Now the hard part .. I was hoping they'd say no. I have a 60 mile/day round trip to work and the 3 would be much better suited to that. Plus I have a 1970 Corvette that needs finished, so I don't need the extra expense. The MS6 is just such a sweet car though. I hate hard decisions. :(

I was looking at a VW and I was quoted "Special Internet Pricing" of MSRP. (bang)

Yeah, I don't know if I'd want to commute in the MS6, but the 3 just doesn't have enough power since I've gotten very used to the 240 horses in my Altima SE over the past three years.

I'm trying to combine S-Plan pricing with the incentive lease program. That will be a sweet deal if it happens and will make the expense of an MS6 a lot easier to take. And who knows, if the car is as solid as it seems to be, I'll buy out the lease in 3 years. If not I get to walk away and move onto to something better.

S-Plan is definitely a dealer decision. My local dealers are all owned by one company and all said no S-Plan due to limited production. But 5 out of 5 out-of-town dealers within an 80 mile radius said yes. I got S-Plan pricing on a lease with $2450 in MAC/Mazda cash and drove home my new MS6 yesterday!

I don't know if I will lease again, though. Too much potential for hanky-panky by the F&I Dept. I'm still not sure how I made out on every Byzantine detail. Anyway, I'm just happy to be behind the wheel of the MS6 at long last!

I got about the same deal as seanw. I bought some extra miles on my lease and still think I got a good deal.

The buy out at the end is only like $13000, 3 year lease 15,000 miles per year.

Way to go, I also got 15K since I plan on driving this thing a bit. Is that the Titanium Gray or Silver? Kind of hard to tell from the picture.

It's the Liquid Platinum. Not really gray or silver, somewhere in between. I think there is a little flip flop in the paint also.

Had mine since 11/17.

Love it..... (thumb)
