Anyone experience rear clunk noise?

Searched for rear clunk, didn't come up with anything that pertained to this. I have an 05 3 hatch and I've noticed that if I have people in the back when I go over bumps I am hearing some type of clunk noise. I can't tell what it is, but I'm scared to lower the car if it's always like this on our cars...anyone?

i have an 06 but i hear odd sounds too...i think its the trunk floor that can be removed to use the bins in the trunk...im not really sure havnt been to worried about it...if it bothers you that much try removing the trunk floor parts and drive around and see if thats it...when i have heavy things in my trunk it doesnt make any noise so that why i feel its that. hope this helped

there's a TSB on rear suspension noise... not sure if it's what you're experiencing

yeah i hear a clunk noise in the rear too....wait...oh yeah i carry alot of s*** in trunk dats probly it. sorry cant help u

there is a TSB out for this. there is some kind of flap in the right rear wheel well that they say to grind off. could be some other s*** though

They will replace your rear strut bushings with the new E-class ones. They have somekind of felt cloth inside them. I have a spare set. Lemme see if I can take a pic for you.
