Anyone else see this in the new Fastrack?

1. Classify the 2003 Mazdaspeed Protg

in SSC. (Sanders) This car was a very limited

production vehicle that is out of production

now and does not fit within the

concept of readily available vehicles that

the class philosophy is built around.

Wankers. Of course, the MP3 was in SSC, so the MSP would have been better suited for SSB anyways. But oh well, can't go SS racing, can't go IT racing...I guess there is always Touring $$$!

ITE is for racecars from another racing category or series. I don't think the MSP is eligible for anything.......shame, though. It's a quick car on the track. It would never fit in SSC, though. I've run quicker laps in the MSP than in a 99 Miata Sport, which falls in SSB. I don't really understand Steve trying to classify an "old" series car. He already has the Mazda3 in SSC, Miata in SSB, and RX-8 in T2. I hope the MS6 goes in T3....soon :)

Merv, Steve tried to get the MSP put in SSC at my request, as an answer to the Mini Cooper S. Yes the MSP can run super good times, but the mini is flat running away from everything in the class. The idea was to try to get at least something that would run with the mini on the high HP tracks like Mid Ohio, Road America, ect. BTW the mini was running high Z4 times at PIR last month!...........Joe

I don't get why SCCA would put the Mini S in SSC? That's the REAL problem. Put that sucker in T3 where it belongs.........
