Anyone else have AC condensation in passenger area

Yesterday, my buddy was riding with me when he noticed that the left side of the console down into the floor..... was DRIPPING wet. The scotchgaurd on the carpet made it look like beads of sweat. And then on the floor it was soaked. He said he noticed earlier in the weekend too, but just didnt mention anything.

Im assuming this is the AC.

Has anyone else noticed this?

The insulation back there stinks if this is a normal thing. And there is no way that all that water coming into contact with whatever is behind that part of the console can be good for the car.

I'll let you know what I find out. Im taking it in today.

I do not have what you speak of. I used to have a VW that did that. One of the drain holes behind the firewall was clogged with helicoptors. It would fill with water with spill over into the passenger compartment.

I used to be a service manager at a Toyota store. I would say the drain for your AC unit is plugged. I have seen this before.

I had same symtoms when I got my 3.
AC drain was disconnected. It was fixed under warranty at the dealer.
You probably want to get it fixed before you get water damage on your interior. You don't want mold to stink up everything.
