Anyone done turbo swap ?????

Has anyone here swapped turbos ? I am going to be getting an exhaust manifold and re-worked turbo eventually/soon and was wondering if I should just wait and do them both. I know the manifold is a b****, was wondering how hard it would be to swap turbos. Thx

Yes wait to do both. It will save you a big hassle. I did the exact same two mods together. With an extra set of hands it still took about 6 hours and a few trips to the hardware store !!

tru-boost. i have to ask. sorry for the slight thread jack scatt nasty.

I have about every mod you do with the exception of the pg reworked turbo and turbo mani. im having a hard time getting and good 0-60 and quarter mile times on my falken 452's. any tips would be great. im getting a 5.7 0-60 and a 13.9 quarter. i seem to get a better time easing off the throttle fairly brisk with tcs on rather than off. those are my best time according to my cobb ap and cant seem to reach what would be expected with my mods. my 60 ft. is something like a 2.50. thanks brova.

Its all about traction. You should be able to do a little better than that though. I was getting about 5.2 0-60 and 13.6 1/4 mile with your mods. The slicks make all the difference. The trick on street rubber is a launch just under 3k with a lot of clutch slip. Come off the clutch too fast and its spin city.
