Anyone done this before?

yeah fear let me know what you find out. the front mount made a huge diffrence. so it would be nice to get the back done for this weekends race, but beggers cant be choosers.
 
sooooooooooo I didnt think this mod was worth anything but making your ride more like a stay at magic fingers. WRONG. I had new tires that had a much softer compund and found out that I would either bog the motor out or dump the clutch to have the worst wheel hop ever. I have also started experincing the gear poping out too. so off I went to make the front and rear mounts solid. I got the front one done and had my first race last weekend. HOLY s*** huge difference. almost...almost no wheel hop and the launch was sooo much smoother and no poping out of gear.

soo I figured it was deffintly worth the purchase of the necessary tools to get the rear mount done. and nothing....... I cannot get that stupid plastic harnes holder off. and I went for the first bolt of three I just rounded the nut....

I admit defeat.. I think my next move is to just tape the thing in the car and fill it in the car, maby?
 
well filling in the car verticaly under the intake plenum going around the EGR and using the wrong epoxy didint go at all. but as I was shopping for the right epoxy it hit me like a sign from above. JB weld baby! it might not last long but I can get to it from underneeth the car and not have to take apart all the bs abouve the mount, and its rock hard just the way I want it. so if there is anyone that found this thread and cant get the back rear mount out, leave it the **** in and fill it with putty!
