Well I wouldn't really consider the msp stock kinda of deal. Its an upgraded suspension from factory. The real stock set up is a 16mm hollow bar to allow flex. 20mm is still pretty beefy and they didn't really beef up the brackets for it and added a soft bushing which allows for a lot of flex. The original design from Racing Beat was the Delsing Bracket or AXR design. But to cut cost they didn't want to keep it that way so they made it like the regular version. It allows for a lot of flex and a narrow stance. Get the AXR brackets and you will never have a problem and that is what that bar was made for.

sway bar brackets covered under warranty???

I would make them replace it under warrenty if it breaks since it could possible be a safety issue...I'm out of warrenty so I am on my own and it will take me no time at all where for warrenty I'd loose my car for a whole day or more for them to do it....

You are in Pottstown, PA???? I haven't seen a MSP around here for a while there was a Blue one but I think it was wrecked?

I jsut found out the other day that my clamp either lost a screw or broke. I was in my damn suit today during lunch when I jacked it up so I couldnt really determine what theh hell had happened but what I can say is that the brcket was bent so far back i couldnt budge it without hammering it back into place. When I got home it was moved again. Is theere an online store that just sells this bracket an dbushing or do I have to go to mazda? The noise im hearing is horrible.

Also, is it bad to remove the sway bar completely including end links. Between the clunk and squeeks im wandering if its worth it. It makes my car sound like shitola.

you can remove it sure, but your handling will change significantly. You can get them from mazda online store or protege garage most likely, it may be a part you need to write Ken directly about.

How much would the handling change if I remove it? I really am fed up with this sway bar already. From the clunk to the squeak, to rattle and now brackets breaking. Its more of a head ache for me. If it is a drastic change I will have to keep it on there but if it a minimal difference Im taking it off for good as long as it doesnt screw anything up.

understeer, if you drive spirited at all you will not like the car without the rear sway. You'll feel the car push in the turns and it will just feel sloppy. If you just drive to work and through traffic then you won't notice its off til you up the pace and take a turn. You'll want it there if you enjoy driving your car for its handling.

I drive my car very hard in the corners. I guess I will take it off unitl I get that bracket. Thanks for your help!

smart decision. start off gentle while it is off before you decide to see how hard you can push it. gradually find out what the car feels like.
