Anyone bought tires online?

Anyone (namely Canadian) had experience purchasing tires at tirerack.com? Can you enlighten me on fees for duty and taxes that will add to the total cost of the purchase. I'm hoping to get a quicker answer here than to go through tirerack or UPS. Thanks!

Shipping cost to Toronto

I bought my winter tires from tirerack.com last year. I paid $84 for shipping to Toronto, plus $196 for customs duty.

$84 for shipping? I got a quote of $190 to Vancouver! Anybody ever try those Nordics from Canadian Tire?

From what I understand... those are made by Goodyear. Great in snow, but not as good on ice as some top-end brands.
