Anybody have this setup on the P5

I talked to my Mazda dealer today and found out that if they install the Mazdaspeed exhaust camshaft, intake camshaft and high compression pistions on my P5 that I will not void warranty.

So my question is: Has anybody done this and if so what kind of performance did you get out of it?

Although a turbo would be nice I am thinking of keeping this n/a and try to milk as much performance out of it while keeping the warranty.

Hmm that be interesting to see.

Only done different cams on a AWD DSM (272intake 272exhaust) and it made noticeable difference in the top end where it needed some.

well here in australia we have 9.7:1 pistons as standard. i have intake and exhaust blank cams ready to grind to my own specs sometime by the end of this month. with everything i've done i'm sure i'll be very impressed with the cams

just for reference, the specs i have chosen are as follows :

intake and exhaust
duration @ 0.050" 225deg
duration @ 0.006" 266deg (same as advertised duration)
lift 0.355"

they'll be pretty much a 3500rpm upwards cam
