Anybody Have The New Sport Automatic?

I think I'm literally the first person to get the Sport AT in the entire Northeast. They arrived at the dealership yesterday, before any of the other dealers I contacted had one and I was driving it by 10:15 pm. I'm trying to learn more about my sweet new MP5 and cars in general, so tell me what I need to do to get you an answer to your question, cause I have no clue.

put your car in drive and hold the brake to the floor dont let the car move any then push the gas to the floor dont worry you are not gonna hurt anything then look at the rpm gauge and see where the needle is on mine it goes to about 2200 rpm like the guy that posted this and thats it bro

22-2500 rpm aint enough torque to hurt nothing and if it does he needs to take the car back anyway if it wont hold that couse it wouldnt last long anyway

Forgot to answer all the questions...
I'm digging the sport shift! Like I said, I haven't had enough time to play and I'm a sloppy true manual driver as it is. The shifts are fairly quick, but without the clutch and having driven a 2000 ES automatic for the last year and change, I find myself wondering like an idiot "gee, the engine's revving awfully high." Then I have a Homer moment.... DOH!

I Feel that the automatic need to have the torque converter speed at least 2500 instead of our 2200 RPM to give the car a little more umph.
SO DID THEY KEEP THE SAME TORQUE CONVERTER?
Shifting manual was a little delayed.
IS THE SHIFTING MANUALY QUICK?

Stall Speed is still about 2200 RPM, maybe a shade more than that depending on how accurate you think the Tach is. The "manual" shifting on the Sport AT is fairly quick, not much delay at all. I do have another question though since I took my first real ride in the car out to tasty Cracker Barrel in Sturbridge, Mass with some pals. I think the car is revving fairly high compared to what I think I was used to in my 2000 ES. Cruising at about 70 MPH, the engine is cranking at about 3100 RPM. Seems a little labored to me, what do other people think?
a quick lesson. it is the gear ratio of the transmission that determines the RPM at which a car runs at a certain speed, NOT its power. I'm assuming that the gear ratio of the sport shift is very similar, if not identical, to the old automatic, therefore it runs at similar rpm at the same speed.
All that 8 extra horsepower gives you is it allows you to REACH that speed/RPM in shorter time, but it does NOT decrease the RPM at a certain speed. The gearing of the transmission determines the RPM of the engine at certain speeds.
so remember, in the relationship between RPM and speed, power has no direct effect to it.

Alright, that makes sense. Can't tell you if it gets there faster yet; I'm trying to be good about the break-in period, so I haven't stood on the gas off the line just yet. I know how to put miles on a car so gimme a week or so! (47000 miles in 22 months on my 2000 ES, that's why I got the P5 this week.)
