Anybody else getting dicked around by...

...PtP re. pumps or internals? This is the third "next week" prediction I've got from them that they have failed to deliver on.

I understand some of the internals came through, failed QC and were sent back by PtP but, that was ages ago now. Anybody know WTF is really going on?

Yes its been very frustating for me as well. I live about 50 miles from pt-performance. I drove up yesterday and dropped off my fuel pump to John. They finaly got some in..From what I understood..50 sets were made..I know they had least 8 orders for full fuel pumps not just internals...What I was being told latly was that the shop that the internals were being polished was too cold, cause we wee going through a pretty cold streak here in washington..so they were putting extra heaters in to warm up the equipment I do believe....Im pretty sure you talked to Monica who asnwers the phones..she herself seems equaly frustrated telling customers over and over again bad news..I think the lesson to learn here..is a old one in the car mod market..if its gonna take a month..TELL me it will take a month..sure I wont be happy..but I can respect that alot more than saying..hey next week..or tommorro..or were getting them tonight..and doing that like 10 times..thats prabaly the shittiest deal of being the customer..Id rather have the hard truth than a quick answer to make me happy...That being said..John who owns pt performance seems to be a very nice guy and professional..and obviously thier trying very hard to get the product out to the customer..I think a "3rd" party is involved with the machining-polishing process possibly and thats whats taking so long....its just a long ordeal...but HOPEFULLY yours stuff should be either on its way or super close to being on its way to you Darth..cause of the 50 sets that were already made and being sent out to all the orders that were taken..Take what I say with grain a salt..this information is based of me calling countless times..talking to them..and driving up there and doing busniess..so I dont know ALL the details..but hope this helps alittle. As for me I need to get my pump up and running full psi so I can drive my car. lol(whistle)

Thanks for the insight, man. Nobody likes the feeling that they've paid and nothing's heard but what sounds like bulls*** excuses.

I thought buying just the internals v. the whole pump would save time, hassle and turnaround north of the border here in Vancouver but, apparently not.

My car's been on life support for nearly 2 months now, fortunately, it's winter so, my incentive to push the pedal is mitigated. Nonetheless, there's really no excuse for the way this has been handled. I like the fact they are watching QC but, the customer service end has to be treated properly as well.
