Just got my newest equipment:
Yongnuo YN-465 Flash

Yongnuo RF-602 wireless triggers

Messing around with them captured this shot of my son:

Flash is triggered from camera left and bounced off the ceiling/wall (since I have no modifiers yet)

And this one:

Ambient lighting from camera left, flash from camera right (i believe at 1/8 power)

I just went through some of the pics in this thread and they are some sick shots...my wife just bought me a Nikon DSLR for christmas havent had to much time with it but its this one http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Products/Product/Digital-SLR-Cameras/25462/D3000.html anyone have the same and if so what lenses do you recommend...im gonna start doing this as a hobby maybe turn into something who knows...so any tips or tricks yall got would be appreciated also any recommendations as far as accessories ie, lighting,tripods things like that

Speedracr - The 35mm f1.8 dx is a great lens for your camera, and very affordable ($200). It is highly recommended on many websites.
