Do want!! How much for one of those? XD

Actually I said screw it to the 7D. I saved some cash and got a T2i instead. This way I have some money left over for video equipment. That custom piece is a counterweight for the new steadycam. I should have it ready in about 2 weeks.

Here's the idea I got for it.

You can find the parts he used on Deal Extreme

hmm that looks cool! the demo video turned out fairly good: http://vimeo.com/1293691

but panning movement control seems difficult still, since its based off a single ball joint for counter balancing, panning movement seems like it'd be a pain.
either way, great cheap alternative.

Just let me know if the aviation photos get annoying... LOL

There is something gray around the girl? Like you've used a brush or something to remove some details. Also there are some lines by her right hand (left side of the picture).

yeah, whatever it is just looks like dirty kitchen linoleum.

It's painted concrete. And no, I think I like the way it came out. I'm going to leave it as is.

And Vocko..yea..I'll fix that. I don't see the lines on the right side though. I dunno. I'm assuming your monitor is calibrated?
