I wanted it to be that way. I thought about correcting the distortion but I felt like the pic is a bit more lively and animated w/ the distortion.

fair enough... I just see it and then that's all I see. pet peeve of mine... as long as it's intentional, it's all good!

one way is with photoshop using the transform function. unlock the background if need be, then under edit -> transform..can use distort, perspective or warp to adjust and plum the lines

yep, and make sure you hit 'double quotes' first to display the grid. I don't know what menu function that is.

thanks sleeper and funky! and nice tip on the double quote, is new for me..I always just drag guide lines over from the rulers.

Nope. Just spent umpteenth hours on CS4 messing with the levels controls. We're getting there slowly but surely...I'm finding out it's all about contrast and getting textures to show up so it's not all just a monotone.

Yup. Same..I don't use any b&w conversion or tools etc. All done in either LR or Camera Raw.

thanks, i just read a decent review on the lexar professional class 10 as well. 16gb card is $23.
i wonder how big of card i'm going to need. i shoved my 1gb 133x card in and in RAW i can hold 26 pics, jpeg fine 101.
