Any photographers in here?

Bands (perceptually their marketing manager) are very uptight about who takes high quality photo's of their bands and what they are used for. I was shooting OAR at an on campus show for the news paper and the manager came and grabbed me by the arm and took me back stage and stated drilling me with questions about who I was, what I was doing and what the pictures were for. I ended up signing a release with the band in order to be able to take pictures during 3 songs out of the entire concert. Just goes to show never trust the person sending you on assignment when they say they have everything approved. Obviously not!!
Rush is coming here! I wanna go but I don't wanna spare the $65 for tix.
How was the show?!
The show was epic. Probably the second loudest show I've ever been to. (The first being The Black Keys)
Geddy Lee kinda screetched the first song (Spirit of the Radio) out though. It was kind of bad, but after that he seemed to calm down and get his actual voice back. There were some fairly decent cinematics and the beginning of each set that told the story of the time machine. The props on stage were well done. There was some pyroteknics in the second set.
Overall I'm glad I went. I will post the pics probably Friday or Saturday night after I am done PP'ing them.

I was taking P&S pictures from way up. No WAY they were high quality photos, not saleable that's for certain! They're just for my enjoyment and photography practice.

took some pics of my buddie's MS3 today... Yes, I know the wheel is faced wrong, but the mirage was just too neat not to post up.
if you love it then you will keep at it and you will keep progressing and keep getting better (thumb)

its a rig shot.....
that unedited vs edited. its a 14 ft aluminum pole thats attached to the car that has to be edited out.

No but seriously i have Nikon D50, bought it when i graduated high school in '06 when it was all shiny and new, and i still love it and use it daily, well as daily as i can, being in the military doesn't leave me much time to go photograph too much, but i do as i can...
