yep that's why I swooped this one up. I figured the market would be flooded... It's definitely not as flooded as I thought it would be though!

Yeah... I am looking to pick up one sometime soon. >_< Waiting for the perfect deal!

Hey guys I figured I would just post in here and ask instead of making a thread, plus all of you know so much about these cameras. I'm looking to upgrade all I have right now is a konica minolta Dimage Z6. What do y'all suggest for a great camera with changeable lenses of course, but under 1000 dollars. I'm looking to get a lot better at photography because I know very little right now, but want to learn a lot more. I don't anything like a point in shoot from what I have now. I'm looking for something that's going to take me to the next level in photography and can also better my skills I do have to build even stronger

for under a grand you have a lot of great options. canon's new t2i is great. but you also have many good options cheaper than that. a good idea would be to head to barnes and noble, and check out the camera section of their magazine rack. take your time and find a mag thats reviewing budget dslr's and see which fits your needs most. alot of guys here are canon guys, btu nikon is also a great option. staying with those two brands and you are safe, and will have alot of third company lenses to upgrade with too. good luck

No matter what brand you buy, get the cheapest (decent) body you can, and spend on the lenses. They are so much more important...
