Yo man..the HDR's are good..need some more work. But you gotta pay attention to how clean your photos are. Especially to your background. When you take your photos..scan the viewfinder for objects that are in the way or could potentially be a distraction.

maybe its because of the small pic but it looks to saturated and it looks like it has a blue cast to it, especially on the walkway to me

Looks good on my monitor. You sure the blue you're seeing isn't on the railings? Looks like its painted blue in there...

now that I look closer I think your right, it looks like the insides are blue

yep, the flash makes the foreground elements look weird... I can't figure out how to change that, so I've sort of embraced it.

in my post processing, I tend to overdo the color boost, which gives them that very saturated quality. at first, I wasn't too fond of it, but I like the vibe it creates now. especially when the leaves go from brown/gray to auburn... I think it works well.

I guess gelling the flash would help that? it probably looks strange because of the white balance difference now that I think about it.

some cameras have more noise than others, the 5D is pretty good for being a 5yr old model

but the main reason there is noise is incorrect exposure, incorrect processing

you can fix it to a degree with noise reduction, but I didnt do any on those pics I dont like using noise reduction because it takes out the details

Because the sensor and processor in your camera is not as good as the 5D's. Plus being full frame is an advantage compared to what you are shooting with.
