Any photographers in here?

I'm a COMPLETE newbie to the photography world but am really interested in learning. I have a Canon Rebel Ti SLR Film camera (I prefer the exposure of film) and am wondering if anyone has any tips for a beginner? Thanks!

haha My mistake. The baby is much cuter than me anyway ;)
Thanks. I'm going to do a series for the parents over the next year. As you can see from the tattoo, she was born very premature. I want to say about 2 mnths early. The mother became allergic to the placenta and started having seizures. They had to do a C section last week. She was 2lbs 4oz when born, but dropped some weight last week. She's slowly gaining it back.

From a trip to Australia.. One of the guys wanted to take a ride in the kiddie car.... We tried to stop him.

(This was taken with a simple point and shoot... We don't have the room on the submarine to take a lot of fancy equipment nor do I trust people to take it...)

WESTPAC?

Here are a few more from today. I wanted to get the tattoo in a few more shots. It's very nerve racking working with her. After every flash, I'd take a look at her monitor to make sure she was OK. Also there's not a lot of room to work as the equipment take up a lot of space.

I'd appreciate any comments on the B&W. Does the toning and contrast look OK? These are pretty much right out of the camera with a little level adjustment.
