Any photographers in here?

any tips how tos?

are you using a lightbox or light table?

Actually my setup is pretty ghetto. White card stock, on my couch, with the pop bottle. What you do is you have to blow out the white background/paper with one light then shoot the subject with 2 lights.

So in this case i used 3 flashes.

I'm gonna build a light box

Try swapping it around. 2 on the background and one on the subject......

They look a little not and noisy. What iso are you shooting at?

The coke bottle is noisy or the shoes? If it's the coke bottle, it's because of the dust that's on it. I haven't touched it in a few months. Me and my ex gf gave each other one to keep and we haven't touched them ever since. It holds some sentimental value to me now hehe.

THat pic is awesome man.

Anyways..here's what I did tonight for about an hour. These are composite photos..as you guys all know already. Lit by 3 flashes. centre, left and right.
Then a bit of masking, blending, feathering, burning and voila! Not bad for a first try. I'll have to get my fingers outside of the cup next time.

^Thanks Funkybuddha. I really like those white backround shots you've got going on. That one of you in the mug is priceless!
The boat doesn't do it for me. But the second one is great!

Thanks. For some reason I really like the boat one. Not much too it but for some reason it really caught my attention.

I like the toy boat.

I must be too much of a newb to understand the whole "toy boat" thing. lol. I see you mentioned someone by the name of MST3K, care to elaborate?

Google "MST3K Toy Boat". Only MST3K geeks fans like myself would understand. The show was hilarious in its day.
