What road is that? Near State college? That upcoming curve looks like a lot of fun. I may be heading up there in a few weeks.

sometimes it's the other way around.(hippy)

I'll agree with that... Hell look at most of my pictures. My camera is crap; I'll admit it. But with good photoshoping skills and the ability to adjust your camera settings well, anyone can overcome s*** equipment... to a degree.

I'll admit, using my Dad's Cannon Digital Rebel is better any day of the week, but you deal with what you have...

Yeah man, its just outside of State College. We have a fun-run coming up this weekend, and will probably do the same one in two weeks. I joined the car club here at PSU and have used my amazing Mazda skills to sniff out this route... The turn in question is a hairpin that I am convinced was designed for a Protege with Espelir spings... Just way too perfect to thow into and get a smidgen of lift-off oversteer... Can't wait for you to come up man. Hit me up if you need my number again. We'll chill.

It's the photographer to a certain extent. Obviously you can't have a crappy camera and need to understand many basics of photography. Take me for example. I have a 4 year old non-DSLR camera, but I think I have a good grasp on some of the photo aspects.

My next step is to get a DSLR so I can actually use lenses. I too am a self taught individual. Come to think of it, everything I know is self taught. Even what I do for work. Anyway, I did like most...research, practice, duplicate, practice more. Best thing about digital is you can take as many photos as you want and it does not cost you a penny. Imagine trying that 10 years ago.

I need some C&C on these...please...

uhh, too Canadian..(hi)

other than that I think the subject matter is ambiguous, by that I mean--it's hard for me to decipher the purpose of these pics.

It seems to "posed" for casual pictures and doesn't fit what I imagine as glamor shots. I can't comment of the composition because it's way better than anything I can do. The lighting and focus looks good to me, but what do I know, I'm just a dude on a CAR forum, lol.

Perhaps it is the background, the black shirt, and the black hair that blends together and makes it look 2 dimensional. Post the same pics with brighter colors on the clothes (or skip the clothes(evil)) and I think it would be an improvement.

Really? I thought the shading on the left foot in the first picture was a bit distracting. That is the off color in the photo. Pictures almost seem too sharp.

A few shots from Sunday meeting up with a few 300ZX guys from Jersey. Shots are from somewhere in Philly. We just drove around looking for spots to shoot so I have no clue where.

^were those edited? They look amazing. What's everyone's secret, lol. How do you obtain such depth... is it somewhat from editing, or the technique when capturing the image? You guys inspire me big time...
