any p5s out there with 2" drop

so here's the deal...i have 17" adr sokudos with 205/40/17 tires...anyway, i'm looking at some springs and i've found some two inch lowering springs that are a great deal, the only thing is i'm afraid they'll scrub horribly...

anyone out there have a two inch drop with 17s? post pics please!!!

for that matter, anyone have 17s with a drop where the wheels don't scrub? post pics/tell me manufacturer of springs, price, etc

I think there are enough on here with such a setup, but I don't think you'll have issues at 205/40....215/45 or something like that on the otherhand......

what type of springs are you looking to buy? Goldline and sprint are the only ones i can think of off the top of my ehad that offer that low of a drop.

My car's dropped at least 2". It's all about offset/camber.

Dont really know what the drop is in my sig, but i bet its a 2" drop or lower. I have the Ground Control coilovers on 17x7's with a +40 offset..........price for the GC's new is about $340+

I have a 3" drop on all corners. I am still on my beautiful factory 16's though. With 17's and lower profile tires you should be comparible with the factory setup. The rear tuck quite nicely and the front has about 1/2"-3/4" of space from the wheel well. No rubbing here.

Sounds like you have coilovers.....and there wont be any rubbing with the stock wheels and tires, when you have them set at its lowest point. But, there will however be rubbing when throwing on some 17's or 18's and have the coilovers set at there lowest point. BTW....keep those 16's tucking!! (laugh)

My spool springs are a 2" drop, and they only barely rub a little with my +42 18", so I think you'll be just fine.

I'm really happy with the stance a 2" drop gives you...the front tires are JUST starting to tuck, and there's about 1/2" of gap in the rears (but rake was a problem with those spools).
