Will the shorty Antenna from a VW fit the base on the P5?

Or, for less money, order a CX-7 one from your local mazda dealer or online. Ebay is an option too, but who knows how well they will fit. But, speaking from personal experience, the CX-7 one is a perfect fit.

Thanks for the replies, tried taking mine off but the rubber is just spinning, looks like I will have to cut that off to get at metal below it with vice grips or something.
