It's not complete but it comes in several stages of completion depending on which company you look up. I believe the company that makes the turbo is Turbo Specialties.

Nolimitmotorsport has them too.

I know they're not complete but it's a good starting point if you don't have all the cash for the Hiboost one.

Damn, just when I decide to put mine up for sell after buying a MS3. I really wanted to put a kit on it just to see how much more it would pull. It's SO slow compared to my MS3, it's like night and day. I don't even like driving it as much as I used to.

Well this kit has been for sale on jcwhitney for a while now too. By looking at it, its basically one of those "You get what you pay for", its a tiny turbo, very small down pipe setup, cheap looking BOV, and no management. SO take the 2,700 add a grand or more for management, and injectors and your basically right where the HiBoost kit is with all quality parts. However, it would be cool for someone to buy it and see the quality. I call not it.

good luck getting all those parts to actually fit and work with your car. you get what you pay for. search the forums, some people have bought those and had to replace half the parts as they did'nt fit, or did not even work with car...it's liked these people just guessed what may or may not work....

Hmm, hadn't even searched for it yet. I was figuring I was going to have to replace half of the parts for more "free flowing" parts. I wonder if they'd sell me the manifold for the T25 only. Might be easier for me to go custom but definitely not cheaper. I'd heard that Juan was taking a while in shipping the turbo kits. Any truth to this or any other news about it?

If that's what comes stock on the Mazdaspeed I'd say at least 250hp w/proper management.

I would buy it. Its worth saving a couple grand every now and then. What is my car worth? How much can I replace a motor for? I would cut cost and put this turbo on. Then tell us all how happy it made you.

I didnt mean to confuse anyone. To replace a 100000+ mile 8+ year old engine cost far less than the Hiboost. Matter of fact I can buy two or more for the cost of the kit. I would be willing to gamble on a low cost turbo kit. Even more so you can enjoy what your car was made for saving gas and toting grandma around. Save a few thousand dollars and go by a old stock Mustang. After all we are only talking 180 streetable HP. You wont be driving around town boosting 20 lbs in your pro unless you have DEEP pockets. Much respect to hiboost for the kit, but who cares when the kit cost $4200. Complete kit? How many people just bought the hiboost and didnt have to get other stuff? Not anyone who races/drives thier car. To argue that-if you not driving/racing why do you need such a high quality kit. Assuming Hiboost is the only company that makes quality turbo kits. Juans kit is bolt on user friendly and you will pay for it. Its been a while since I wrote stupid crap on this forum so.........I have written. $4200...........are you kidding me. Juan needs to get off his high horse and sell some kits. Hes not a friggen doctor. I dont recall who it was but they were a member to this forum that put together his own kit and made better numbers than old $4200 worth. Im done. This is what happens when the forum sends me an email saying"we miss you. Please come visit".

LOL! So they did miss you huh?! I've decided to go custom on mine because I can't afford the $4200 all in one blow. I'm sure it's a great kit complete with everything but too steep for me right now. Yes, I've heard just save your money but half the fun for me is shopping on line for some good to killer deals on used stuff and then make my own. I've got a high boost intercooler kit for about $500. A buddy of mine is upgradeing his MSP turbo so I'm going to buy his for pretty cheap. Might end up using his manifold to see if it fits on mine if not then I'll go custom. I'm working on getting a haltech. I've seen two slip out of my hands thus far in the last year so I'm sure I'll catch another one this year. Yeah they can get expensive ($1000) even if they're used but it's worth it to me so I don't blow my engine. If I decide to get rid of the car, I can keep the haltech and some other components. We'll see how it goes.
