thanks..

i use an Olympus 3040z. its a 3.1mp cam and ive had it for about 2 years now. those pics are completely in auto mode so i didnt make any changes etc. also those pics are resized straight from the originals so there was no color saturation changes etc in photoshop. its was kinda cloudy this morning so it wasnt super bright outside..

ive actually been in the market for a new cam and im leaning towards a canon G5. canons take very nice pictures...

if u have any more questions... lemme know. im kinda a digi-cam junkie. :)

I really thought you used a Canon. Yep, you definitely can't go wrong with Canon digital cameras.

I have a Canon G5 and it takes awesome pictures. There's tons of exposure adjustments you can do (can be a little overwhelming if you don't know what's going on :))

Its nice to see that My car has inspired you. I must say that you car looks KILLER. Oh wait, maybe thats becuase I think my car looks KILLER. Something about those wheels sets off the car perfectly. One of my next goals is to get some paint and paint all my badges and headlights to match the color of the rims.

Again, good call on the rims!

very nice pictures ! (thumb) what tire shine did u use ??? the meguiar stuff i'm using doesn't stay very "wet" for long if i don't apply a lot of layers

You guys need to quit posting pictures like this...I can't afford 17's right now, and everytime I see pics like this I want some!!!!

Definitely going with the Eibach Prokits come the Spring. I like the price of the Mazdaspeed exhaust, but have heard it really drones at 75-80mph -- not very roadtrip friendly.

DM & Cruzin -- Awesome looking cars!!! I've always felt the 4 inch tip was too big, but it looks damn good in your pics.

Very nice looking ride. :)
I've got a Canon digital camera and it takes great pics.. :D

this is by far one of the best looking pics I have seen of a Classic red MP5.

carpic-04.jpg

Good shot!! Something about the contrast in colors, its very powerful.

Its a damn shame this pic wasnt taken a few months ago, it SHOULD be in the calender.

ive been very impressed with the color quality in canon cameras and will definitely be switching to a G5 shortly... i love the photo stitching thingy it has for panoramics. very cool.

Jflo, im not sure which tire shine they used, i took the car to a Bubbles CarWash here in town and they have some wholesale industry type shine. i usually use a brand called Tire Wet. it comes in both a liquid and a foam but i pefer the liquid. also, the car was washed like 10 minutes prior to taking those pics so if the tires still look very wet, its prolly because they still were.. :)

mcstark, as far as droning at 70-80, i have heard the same thing but im a bit more annoyed with the low end grunt tone that it produces at 0-20mph when accelerating. i just drove 6hours to louisiana this past weekend and didnt think to much of the tone at highway speeds.

cruizin, thanks for the compliments and also thanks for answering my questions while i was trying to decide on which wheels to go with...

i thought i was actually pretty lucky to find that building because it actually had a very nice setting to take pictures in... no signs, no mirrors, no dingy oil stains, no parking lot stripes etc etc...

thanks again.

by the way... ur right.. i was thinking of the year i bought it... eheh :)

could also be a 2002.5 right? =)

awesome pictures. are you on the stock 215/45's...and if so are u having the same rubbing in the front during tight turns as cruzinaltitude is having?

yeah they are 215-45s...

i am having the same rub issue. only happens when i turn the wheel to the left or right a FULL 360 degrees so that the mazda logo is right side up again....

i now know not to turn it that far, i let up just before that spot... just a minor thing to live with. no biggie

dream_merchant - AWESOME. Period. Great looking car, clean, flawless, beautiful shots. (2thumbs) I hear ya on that new car bug, I took a couple spins in the Mazda3 hatch and fell in love. Fast forward a couple weeks and I've got a mod list going in my head for my P5 and have all but forgotten about the 3. It will be my next car, eventually, but right now I think I'm going to have some more fun w/my 5. :D

thanks.. i know what u mean. back when my P5 was bone stock, i had to have it worked on a little bit at the dealer and decided to just wait on it. ended up looking at the new 3s and thought... hmm why not just trade mine in...

well i talked myself out of buying one and had to leave the dealership with a new MSP axleback exhaust to try to respark some interest in my P5. then got it lowered and since i needed some new tires anyways, i went ahead and bought some harts.

now my heart is very content with my P5 and im not considering a new 3.... at least for the next few months anyways... :)

looks awesome man i didnt get my car back from the engine shop yet to do the drop but will prolly go with the eibach kit and maybe tokikco shocks or kyb not sure which ones yet. Still to much to do and not enough time
